Job Summary:
Responsibilities:
Sign Installation:
· Installation and removal of signs in a safe manner utilizing proper equipment and ensuring company standards are applied.
· Ensure Sign messages are changed quickly and efficiently.
· Messages are accurate and correspond to the order sheet. Messages are checked for accuracy before departure.
· Follow installation plans and specifications provided by salesperson or clients.
Maintenance and Repair:
· Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing signs to ensure functionality and appearance.
· Replace damaged components, repair electrical connections, and repaint signs as needed.
Safety Compliance:
· Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines while working at heights and using power tools.
· Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
Quality Control:
· Inspect signs for defects, damage, or inconsistencies before installation.
· Ensure that signage meets quality standards and customer expectations.
· Load, pack and unload items with care.
· ·Ensure that no items are damaged or lost during transportation.
Documentation:
· Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
· Complete installation reports and documentation as required
Client Interaction:
· Communicate with clients to confirm installation specifications and address concerns
· Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational training or certification in sign installation or a related field is advantageous.
· Previous experience in sign installation, construction, or a related field preferred.
· Strong technical skills and mechanical aptitude.
· Ability to read and interpret installation plans, blueprints, and diagrams.
· Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
· Ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights.
· Comfortable working outdoors and in various weather conditions.
· Ability to follow instructions precisely and ensure accuracy in sign installation and alignment.
· Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
· Physically active, able to lift up to 65lbs
· Clean drivers abstract with a valid class 5 license
· Experience driving trailers and cube vans considered an asset
· Available to Monday-Friday with a Wednesday late night shift.
