Job description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Systems Analyst that is experienced with Acumatica ERP. The work will involve working with end users and to support the adoption, configuration, and ongoing optimization of Acumatica ERP solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders in the EU and the technical team located in Canada. You will be required to translate business requirements into effective system configurations and ensure successful delivery of Acumatica initiatives.This is a contract position on an as needed basis. You can work remotely, but must be able to work during CET business hours. Must have good communication skills in English.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis & Requirements Gathering
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate functional requirements across finance, distribution, manufacturing, and project accounting modules
  • Conduct workshops, interviews, and process mapping sessions to understand current and future state business processes
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and user stories
Solution Design & Configuration
  • Configure Acumatica ERP modules to meet business requirements, including GL, AP, AR, Inventory, Order Management, and Projects
  • Design end-to-end business process workflows within Acumatica
  • Recommend best practices and standard Acumatica functionality to minimize customization
Stakeholder Engagement & Support
  • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams (developers, system administrators)
  • Provide functional expertise and guidance to users and project teams
  • Support issue resolution, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to optimize business processes and improve system utilization
  • Support ongoing enhancements and system upgrades
  • Stay current with Acumatica product updates and new features
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or ERP Consultant
  • Hands-on experience with Acumatica ERP (required)
  • Strong understanding of business processes in one or more areas: Finance, Supply Chain, Distribution, or Manufacturing
  • Experience with ERP implementations or system upgrades
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Acumatica customization framework or working closely with developers
  • Knowledge of SQL, reporting tools, or data migration processes
  • Experience in cloud-based ERP environments
  • Professional certifications related to ERP, business analysis, or Acumatica
