This role provides dedicated HR support to assigned client groups while also contributing to broader people initiatives across the organization.

Responsibilities :
- Provide day-to-day HR support to assigned client groups, including employee relations, performance management, accommodations, and merit processes
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders, offering guidance on HR policies, best practices, and employment legislation
- Support enterprise initiatives such as employee engagement and satisfaction surveys
- Assist with recruitment overflow, including resume screening, phone interviews, and interview participation
- Provide backup support for payroll during vacations or absences
- Maintain accurate employee data and support HRIS improvements
- Contribute to policy development, compliance updates, and HR documentation
- Support training coordination, participation tracking, and development initiatives
- Assist with HR reporting, metrics, and change management activities
- Build strong relationships with remote client groups and provide consistent, high-quality support
Qualifications :
- Minimum of three years of HR Generalist experience
- Strong employee relations background with solid knowledge of employment legislation
- Previous payroll experience required (backup coverage)
- Experience supporting multiple sites or remote client groups is an asset
- Recruitment experience preferred
- HR diploma required; CHRP designation or actively pursuing it is an asset
- Experience with BambooHR is an advantage
- Strong communication, judgment, and relationship-building skills
