Job description
The company, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Salesforce Functional Analyst to support Salesforce solution delivery and platform support across strategic initiatives. The role requires a combination of functional, technical, and analytical skills, as well as experience in delivering value within cross-functional Agile teams that include a mix of vendor resources, independent contractors, and government employees. Responsibilities:Salesforce Design/Functional Analysis
  • Working with stakeholders to understand requirements and advise on the features and capabilities of the Salesforce platform
  • Leads / supports Joint Application Design sessions, designs solutions, creates prototypes and wireframes, delivers Sprint Review demos
  • Develops User Stories and Acceptance Criteria
  • Supports Product Owner, development team members, and stakeholders
  • Applies service design principles and incorporates stakeholder feedback
Salesforce Administration / Support
  • Configuration and automation of complex business processes
  • Configuration of reporting and dashboards
  • Ensuring the system running efficiently
  • Monitors new releases
  • User access management
  • Security management
  • Data management and facilitating data governance
  • Providing user support
  • Providing user training
  • Working with stakeholders to gather requirements for new processes
  • Proactively monitoring Salesforce environments (e.g. production orgs, sandboxes)
  • General Salesforce org maintenance, including adjusting configuration to ensure the smooth integration of new Salesforce releases
  • Installation and testing of Salesforce apps in lower environments and in Production
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst / Business Analyst, with strong focus on Salesforce solutions
  • Proven experience translating business requirements into Salesforce configurations and solution designs
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce platform capabilities including configuration, automation (Flows), reporting, and dashboards
  • Strong experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria, and supporting Agile delivery teams
  • Experience facilitating workshops, stakeholder engagement sessions, and solution design discussions
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and environment management
  • Experience supporting production environments, releases, and ongoing platform enhancements
  • Exposure to Salesforce Clouds (e.g., Health Cloud, Public Sector Solutions) and AppExchange products
  • Experience working on large, complex enterprise or digital transformation projects
  • Experience in public sector or healthcare environments is strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
