About this role

We are recruiting for a Service Coordinator, Controls Technology, to join our Building Automation Systems team. This position can be based in our Burnaby or Victoria office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support while dispatching, coordinating, and supporting technical teams in the delivery of technical support services for our valued customers.

This is not an IT role.

Your responsibilities

• Provide consistent and high-quality customer service and administrative support
• Receive phone calls and emails from customers requesting work
• Collaborate with customers to complete initial investigation and assess support requests, and determine solutions
• Prioritize service requests, schedule and dispatch controls service technicians
• Create work orders, manage through to completion, and handle billing process
• Track and expedite material orders as required
• Upload service project documentation into system
• Coordinate and follow up with technical staff to complete work orders
• Prepare list of follow up recommended service actions for customers

Your experience and skills

• 2+ years of experience in a similar administrative support/customer service role coordinating service requests and dispatching technicians
• Basic knowledge of Building Control Systems preferred
• Experience with material ordering, tracking, billing, and reporting
• Flexible with the proven ability to multitask in a changing, fast-paced environment
• Excellent computer skills inf MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel), Procore, JDE or other CRM systems, an asset
• Proven teamwork skills complemented by the ability to work well independently
• Superior oral and written communication skills
• Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to prioritize work
• Positive attitude with a patient and calm nature

Salary range: $50,000-$65,000 per year plus a competitive total compensation package. Actual salary will be commensurate with experience, skills and overall match to the position offered. Let's chat throughout the hiring process and determine the best fit.
