Our shipping supply company has seen decades of steady growth, creating a stable work environment our employees can count on. Join us as an Inventory Control Manager, where you’ll ensure our extensive in-stock inventory is accounted for and ready to ship to customers.

Position Responsibilities

Conduct daily analysis to anticipate potential inventory problems and perform root cause analyses to resolve problems.

Report, monitor and review daily inventory adjustments and changes.

Train distribution and receiving managers on inventory control practices and procedures.

Coordinate and manage daily physical and perpetual cycle counting efforts.

Report on inventory activities, changes and variances, including trends and analysis.

Resolve inventory issues and discrepancies, problem orders and intercompany transfer issues.

Develop reports, inventory control procedures and best practices.

Minimum Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

3 - 5 years’ experience in inventory, distribution and operational procedures.

1 - 2 years managerial or supervisory experience.

Demonstrated leadership, analytical and communication skills.

Product receiving experience a plus.

AS400 and Oracle EBS experience a plus.
