Our global network includes facilities in Canada the United States and Hungary ensuring regional expertise and global Position:A Supply Chain Coordinator at Eclipse Automation is accountable to facilitate the purchase scheduling and delivery of materials on schedule and on cost while collaborating cross-functionally with a variety of other Eclipse employees. Within this fast-paced environment supporting other team members in daily dashboard deliverables along with facilitating the internal processes are key to Youll Be Doing:Facilitate the release of direct purchases of materials utilizing MRP functionalityWork with the project management and manufacturing teams to ensure production requirements are maintained while limiting on hand inventoriesEnsure continuity of supply while escalating constraints as appropriateDevelop and maintain effective business relationships with all supplier partnersImplement cost reduction strategies and maintain cost baselinesManagement and implementation of all engineering change requestsManage reverse logistics for failed suspect or non-required materialsMaintain all dashboard metrics dailyDevelop a good understanding of the products the supply base and the associated technologies within your commodityKeep abreast of current and emerging technologies as well as their business implicationsAbility to travel globally not to exceed 20% of timeWhat Were Looking For:Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related discipline considered an asset (materials management supply chain management or business)Industry Certifications considered an asset (CSCMP CPIM CSCP CCLP etc.)Minimal supply chain management experience in a manufacturing environment requiredExcellent negotiation skills a mustMRP/ERP experience an asset (SAP Oracle etc.)Intermediate level skills required in MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint).A strong team-player with experience working in cross-functional teams is preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsGood problem analysis and resolution skillsCommitted to continuous improvement within the supply chainThe ability to multitask and to prioritize those tasksStudents should be enrolled in a post-secondary academic program requiring a co-op/work Join Us:Here at Eclipse Automation creation and innovation are at our core and our culture reflects that.
