About Our Client
Our client is a high-performing, growth-oriented mortgage brokerage operating across Western Canada, with a strong presence in Saskatchewan and Alberta. The firm is built on a reputation of integrity, precision underwriting, and a deeply client-centered experience.
With consistent production volume and recognized industry performance, the brokerage blends high standards with intelligent systems. This is a high-accountability environment designed for an experienced underwriter who takes ownership, values accuracy, and performs well in a fast-paced setting where excellence is expected.
Our client is hiring a Senior Mortgage Underwriter to work remotely, from the prairies, on the lead broker’s client files.
Key Responsibilities

· Structure, position, and present files strategically to primarily A lenders.
· Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, lenders, lawyers, and internal stakeholders - escalating risks or gaps early.
· Deliver a 5-star client experience marked by responsiveness, accuracy, and calm confidence.
Requirements
· 10+ years in the mortgage industry with deep, end-to-end underwriting experience.
· Advanced expertise in A lending (insured and uninsured), with general knowledge of sub-prime, B, and private lending channels.

· Highly organized and detail-oriented, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and clean file flow.
· High integrity and discretion in handling confidential client information.
· Strong technical proficiency, including mortgage systems, CRM platforms, and fast, accurate documentation handling.
· Licensing in SK or AB is an asset but not required.
Why Our Client:
