Welder Technician

Our client, a dynamic organization specializing in truck refurbishment and utility equipment maintenance, is seeking a dedicated Welder Technician to join their team. As a Welder Technician, you will be part of a small, collaborative department supporting a team of skilled professionals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate mechanical aptitude, adaptability, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Welder Technician
Location: Delta, BC
Pay Range: $30/hr
Shift: 8-hour day shift; typical start 6:00–6:30 a.m.; flexible start possible as long as work is completed

What's the Job?

• Perform flux-core (FCAW) and/or stick (SMAW) welding on truck refurbishment projects
• Support mechanical tasks such as disassembly, parts swaps, fittings, and basic fabrication
• Assist with general shop work, including maintaining safety, cleanliness, and quality standards
• Collaborate closely within a small, multi-skilled team to ensure project success
• Follow SOPs, read drawings/prints, and adhere to safety protocols

What's Needed?

• Welding experience with flux-core (FCAW) and/or stick (SMAW) processes
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to assist with non-welding tasks
• Adaptability and willingness to perform a variety of shop duties
• Clear, professional communication skills and team-oriented attitude
• Reliability with punctuality for early starts and safety-minded approach
