Job Description:

Looking for a Financial Analyst to join our growing and dynamic Finance Business Partner team. This position will support the senior members of the FP&A team in providing financial analysis and insights to support Microchip’s business units and business decision-making processes.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities of Financial Analyst:

• Update and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and templates on a regular basis for Business Unit management review

• Support Senior Analysts with Financial analysis related to revenue, gross margin, OpEx, CapEx, and headcount, including reconciliations for assigned Business Units

• Partner closely with Accounting team to ensure accurate accounting results and proper accounting treatment

• Support process improvement initiatives and financial system enhancement or automation in collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive common practices and improve productivity

• Provide assistance for ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting, and data analytics as needed

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Undergraduate BBA or BComm degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Information Science

• Prior experience in FP&A or Finance/Accounting (including internships or co-op experience) is preferred

• Strong proficiency with Excel and the ability to research, analyze, and investigate data independently

• Strong proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word and PowerPoint)

• Comfortable managing large volumes of data in different formats and systems

• Detailed-oriented, well-organized and able to manage multiple priorities

• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills

Pay Range:

We offer a total compensation package that ranks among the best in the industry. It consists of competitive base pay, restricted stock units, and quarterly bonus payments. In addition to these components, our package includes health benefits that begin day one, retirement savings plans, and an industry leading IESPP program with a 6-month look back feature.
