Warehouse Supervisor

Adecco, in partnership with Capital Movers & Storage is currently hiring a full-time motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee warehouse operations, inventory management, and the organization of household goods and general freight in Trenton, ON. This position requires hands-on leadership, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must have experience in the moving industry and hold a valid AZ license.

• Pay Rate: $25.00 - $30.00 - based on experience.

Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations

• Manage and track household goods inventory and general freight.
  
• Verify, document, and maintain accurate records for all inbound and outbound shipments.
  
• Ensure proper preparation and protection of stored goods, including pad-wrapping, labeling, and consolidation.
  
• Organize and stage shipments for distribution and storage.
  
• Maintain controlled access to the warehouse at all times.
  
• Operate and maintain forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
  
• Perform housekeeping duties to ensure a clean, organized, and safe facility.
  
• Keep truck and trailer safety inspections up to date.
  
• Conduct monthly facility safety inspections.
  

Leadership & Team Coordination

• Provide direction and support to staff handling incoming and outgoing shipments.
  
• Lead by example to uphold Company Policies and Procedures.
  
• Promote a safe workplace by enforcing OHS rules and safety practices.
  

Transportation & Field Support

• Move trailers and scale trucks as needed.
  
• Load and unload trucks at customer residences when required.
  
• Perform occasional general freight deliveries.
  
• Assist with facility and property maintenance, including snow plowing and shoveling.
  

Qualifications:

• Valid AZ License with a clean driving record and CVOR.
  
• Clear CPIC (Criminal Background Check) prior to employment.
  
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the moving industry.
  
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs safely.
  
• Ability to use or learn warehouse software and technology.
  
• Ability to obtain enhanced reliability security clearance.
  
• Forklift operation experience.
  
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience.
  
• Strong mechanical aptitude or familiarity with warehouse equipment.
  
• Experienced in warehouse logistics, moving operations, or transportation.
  
• Hands-on work and can perform physically demanding tasks.
  
• Team-oriented workers with strong communication skills.
  
• Reliable, safety-focused individuals who can work independently and meet deadlines.
  
• Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
