As the Assistant Branch Manager , you will report to the Branch Manager. You will be responsible for leading a team, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring that exceptional customer service is consistently provided, while supporting the achievement of company goals.
Your main responsibilities will include :
- Being actively present in the field to supervise and participate in operations within a sometimes outdoor, physical, and dirty environment;
- Promoting a welcoming and safe workplace;
- Enforcing environmental, health, and safety rules and procedures;
- Assisting the Branch Manager during monthly Health & Safety audits;
- Overseeing daily operations such as scheduling, and achieving sales and production targets;
- Supporting employees by participating in daily tasks and operational initiatives in the field;
- Assisting the Branch Manager in employee communications;
- Collaborating with various internal partners to ensure compliance with business processes;
- Conducting quarterly performance evaluations for hourly employees alongside the Branch Manager;
- Performing various administrative tasks (cash deposits, payroll, scheduling, etc.);
- Supporting the Branch Manager in the recruitment, onboarding, and integration of new employees;
- Acting as an ambassador for organizational change and playing an active role in its implementation within your branch.
Qualifications
Minimum of three (3) years of customer service experience;Minimum of one (1) year of management experience;College or university degree;Experience in retail or the automotive industry is an asset;Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.Key competencies :
