Job Title : Testing Program Manager - 15+years
Location : Hybrid - Mississauga office. 2 - 3 days a week
Type : Contract
Responsibilities :
- Manage Testing Processes : Oversee the planning, execution, and reporting of software tests.
- Develop Test Strategies : Create comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure thorough testing of software products.
- Coordinate with Teams : Work closely with development, QA, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
- Monitor Progress : Track project milestones, deliverables, and timelines, ensuring adherence to schedules.
- Risk Management : Identify potential risks in the testing process and develop mitigation strategies.
- Stakeholder Communication : Regularly update stakeholders on project status, issues, and resolutions.
- Resource Management : Allocate resources effectively to meet project demands and deadlines.
- Continuous Improvement : Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives in the testing process.
Required Skills :
- Technical Proficiency : Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes. Familiarity with SQL, data collection, and end-to-end testing.
- Leadership : Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Problem-Solving : Ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions.
- Organizational Skills : Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Adaptability : Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Qualifications :
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience : Proven experience in managing software testing projects, with a strong background in QA and testing methodologies2.
- Certifications : Relevant certifications such as PMP, CSM, or ISTQB are a plus"
