  • Develop store‑level sales planning tools and end‑to‑end processes.
  • Evolve and refine seasonal clustering tools and processes.
  • Collaborate with Merchandise Planning on buy planning at the store‑cluster level, including sales contribution, APS planning and unit investment.
  • Collaborate with Commercial and Store Development on new store openings and optimization through site selection, floor‑plan review and product assortment assignment.
  • Uphold Fair Labor Association’s Workplace Code of Conduct and Principles of Fair Labor and Responsible Sourcing throughout the Arc’teryx supply chain.

Future Projects

  • Work on the End‑to‑End Planning project to develop future processes and technology in merchandise financial planning, assortment planning, demand planning and more.
  • Collaborate with Store Development, Visual Merchandising and Retail Operations to evolve store design and optimization processes.

Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of experience in Merchandise Planning, Allocations, Merchandising or a related sales planning function.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience.
  • Degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
  • Experience working in a vertical retailer, preferably in apparel or outdoor industry.
  • Firsthand experience or familiarity with the core activities we build products for (trail, snow, climb).
  • Proficiency in using data and market insights to drive alignment and decision‑making.
  • Excellent cross‑functional collaboration and presentation skills across all organizational levels.
  • Experience working within an I2C/GTM calendar and meeting pre‑existing deliverables.
  • Change‑management experience and a high degree of perseverance.
  • Empathetic leadership, comfortable giving and receiving feedback, and commitment to continuous team improvement.
  • Proactive problem‑solving and flexible in ambiguous situations.
  • Ability to balance autonomy with collaboration and inspire breakthrough thinking.
  • Strong commitment to doing what is right and pursuing the best solutions.
  • Passion for the work and for outdoor adventure.
