Skills & Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in office/sales administration
- 1+ year of experience with Excel – understanding of tables, PivotTables, basic functions
- 1-2 years of customer service experience
- Attention to detail and a passion for continuously improving company processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Suite including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and OneDrive
- Confidence dealing directly with clients and staff members
- Previous experience with NetSuite or other CRM / ERP systems an asset
Responsibilities
- Act as a product knowledge expert for flexible packaging, responding to sales leads, scheduling customer calls to cover all questions and concerns, updating the CRM system throughout the process
- Respond to sales leads, answering client questions and concerns in a timely way
- Walk new customers through the process of customized packaging, having them complete forms to be used for quoting purposes
- Send quotes to customers, create Sales Orders, receive approvals, request deposits
- Send all compliance documents to customers, reviewing the received information, checking for accuracy, uploading all information to CRM and ERP systems
- Request samples of customer’s products in order to review and size appropriately with internal personnel
- Create Receive Orders for inbound shipments and Ship Orders for Outbound shipments
- Create Work Orders and Sales orders for new projects
- Coordinate production and communicate timelines with customers
- Pull production reports, as required
- Serve as a liaison between various departments
- Understand how to use the estimator tool and quote customers accurately when required
- Create and manage spreadsheets
- Follow up with all current clients and incoming leads, ensuring prompt communication
- Proficiency in basic math skills, including mark-up, cost calculation, is highly advantageous
- Attend Tradeshows as required
