About This Role

We are recruiting for a Control Systems Technician to join our Burnaby or Victoria office. Here's how your role will strengthen our team.

Your Responsibilities

  • Leading the engineering, programming, and commissioning of building automation systems
  • Integrating various systems such as chillers, boilers, and lighting panels
  • Data acquisition
  • Handle calibration of temperature and humidity sensors
  • Train building operators
  • Select and size control equipment to meet project requirements

Your Experience And Skills

  • 3+ years direct experience leading and designing HVAC systems
  • 2 years' experience in onsite commissioning of HVAC control systems
  • Experience in the use of MS-Visio / MS-Office & mechanical design package tools such as Auto Cad and Solid Works
  • Experience with networking, setting up windows server, configuring routers and switches

  • Knowledge of control system design and electrical control system wiring methods
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree / Diploma
  • Working knowledge of Reliable Control and / or Schneider EcoStruxure product, an asset
  • Well organized team player with strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Able to speak, read and write English fluently, flexible and able to multi-task in a changing, fast-paced environment
