Role Overview:
This transformation-minded professional role thrives at the intersection of culture, capability, and performance. In this role, you need to influence without authority, translate strategy into new ways of working, and help our organization move from traditional execution to adaptive, digitally enabled, continuously improving teams.
Operational excellence experience is important, but what matters most is the ability to change mindsets, behaviors, and systems at scale. This role will act as a change catalyst across functions, partnering with leaders in Sales, Marketing, Finance, Regulatory, and Tenders & Contracts, Pricing, Order Operations, etc.
This position will be a flex modality position in Canada.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Plans, performs and implements process improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma).
- Diagrams and evaluates existing processes.
- Organizes, leads and facilitates cross-functional project teams.
- Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.
- Collects data to identify root cause of problems.
- Measures performance against process requirements.
- Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls.
- Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality.
- May deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control.
- Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques and processes.
- Communicates team progress.
- Performs cost and benefit analyses.
Drive organizational and cultural transformation
Partner with leaders to evolve how teams work, decide, and deliver—embedding continuous improvement, accountability, and learning into day-to-day operations.
Help shift the organization from project-based improvement to capability-led, mindset-driven transformation.
Lead influence-based change across complex stakeholder groups
Operate effectively without formal authority, building trust and alignment across senior leaders, functional teams, and frontline stakeholders.
Facilitate conversations that challenge the status quo and unlock new ways of thinking.
Translate strategy into new ways of working
Design and implement transformation initiatives that align culture, process, technology, and performance management.
Connect enterprise priorities to practical, measurable changes in how work gets done.
Enable digital and data-driven transformation
Identify opportunities to modernize workflows through digital tools, automation, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions.
Help teams move from intuition-based decisions to insight-led execution.
Apply operational excellence as a transformation lever
Use various Project Management methodologies not as ends in themselves, but as enablers of better thinking, faster learning, and sustainable change.
Lead end-to-end problem solving focused on root causes, system design, and long-term impact.
Build organizational capability
Design and deliver learning experiences, workshops, and coaching that empower employees to lead change themselves.
Act as a role model for continuous improvement, curiosity, and disciplined experimentation.
Measure what matters
Define meaningful KPIs and success measures that track adoption, behavior change, and business outcomes, not just activity.
Translate results into clear, compelling narratives for senior leadership.
Must Have:
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or above, Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar relevant certification.
- Proficiency in leading root cause problem-solving using structured methodologies, with a focus on sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
- Demonstrated ability to establish performance baselines, measure results against standards, and embed improvements through standard work and visual management techniques.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present progress, results, and lessons learned to stakeholders and leaders through clear, data-driven updates. Experience delivering training, workshops, and coaching on process improvement principles, problem-solving, data analysis, and continuous improvement tools.
Salary range: $83200 - $104000
SPECIALIST CAREER STREAM: Typically an individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty. Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. The majority of time is spent delivering and overseeing the projects – from design to implementation - while and adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education.

Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires advanced knowledge of job area combining breadth and depth, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
May have practical knowledge of project management.
Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A) and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
