What You’ll Be Doing

Duties and Responsibilities :

Configure, monitor, and support Fortinet network hardware (firewalls, switches, routers) to ensure optimal performance and security

Conduct regular network performance monitoring and analysis to identify and resolve issues proactively

Use diagnostic tools to monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize the network infrastructure

Develop and maintain network documentation, including configurations, policies, procedures, and best practices

Ensure compliance with industry standards, policies, and security requirements

Collaborate with third-party vendors for equipment procurement, updates, and incident management

Work closely with the extended IT Helpdesk to provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for software, hardware, and network issues, ensuring timely resolution of IT tickets

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Qualifications and Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

3+ years of experience in network engineering, specifically with Fortinet hardware.

Proficiency in VPN setup, configuration, and management.

Familiarity with network monitoring and security tools.

Experience with other network hardware brands and cloud environments is a plus.

Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and unsupervised, showing initiative, sound judgment, and a commitment to improving IT services and supporting end-user productivity.

Bonus Qualifications :

Certifications like Fortinet NSE, Microsoft Certified : Azure Network Engineer, Microsoft Intune, or CompTIA Network+

Proficiency in SD-WAN technology, with experience in setup, configuration, and management

Experience with other network hardware brands and cloud environments is a plus
