Job description

The Manager, IT M&A Integrations, requires an understanding of applications, IT infrastructure, integrating different IT products together and ultimately delivering those products to the end user. A background managing and driving multiple projects along different verticals of IT is critical in this function. Excellent communication skills are key as the incumbent will need to communicate with multiple groups across the company. The incumbent will take on a heavy management role and support the Director.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate and manage integration efforts of new businesses into GFL’s overarching systems and processes
  • Onsite visits for IT Discovery for potential acquisitions
  • Assess, order, and plan deployment new employee workstations
  • Assess order network infrastructure and hardware and coordinate their deployment and integration alongside systems specialists
  • Develop and execute integration plans for new company systems and software
  • Develop and execute integration plans for SCADA and plant SW and hardware
  • Ensure that business continuity is maintained during the integration process
  • Drive escalations to resolution within the expected SLA’s and project timelines
  • Lead deployment tasks related to account provisioning and asset management
  • Manage a team of IT system Analysts and interface / coordinate with other verticals within the project team

Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies :

  • College diploma or University degree in Business Technology Management, Business Information Systems, Information Technology Management, or related field of study
  • 5-10 years’ work experience in IT Integration, IT Project Delivery, or a similar role
  • PMP Certification is considered an asset
  • Advanced competency with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong scheduling, asset management and technical deployment experience
  • Experience with moves, adds, and changes of technical resources and hardware
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional discretion is mandatory as the incumbent will be dealing with confidential information
  • Customer Service oriented, with the ability to work well both in teams and independently
  • Emotional intelligence and awareness to understand constituents in all areas of the business and respond to their needs
  • Willing and able to travel frequently throughout Canada and the US, including valid Driver's License
