Your Role :

As a Data Cloud Platform Engineer , you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day operation, stability, and continuous improvement of existing database platforms running on AWS. You will ensure databases remain secure, highly available, performant, and recoverable, supporting production workloads and business‑critical applications. This role focuses on operational excellence, troubleshooting, automation, and incremental optimization, working closely with DevOps, Platform, and application teams.

Operate & Support Existing AWS Databases

• Support and maintain production databases running on Amazon RDS, Aurora, and self‑managed databases on EC2.
• Ensure database availability, integrity, and performance across multiple environments.
• Respond to database‑related incidents, alerts, and service degradations.

Monitor, Troubleshoot & Optimize Performance

Security, Backup & Data Protection

Automation & Infrastructure as Code (Incremental)

Change Management & Upgrades

Documentation & Operational Hygiene
