Our Lacombe Agro Site is looking for casual Seasonal Agro Delivery Drivers to join our team.
Term : Temporary contract for approximately 7 months.
Casual : less than 24 hours / week.
Availability requirements : Weekdays
Responsibilities :
- Provide excellent customer service
- Deliver fertilizer and custom application equipment to customers
- Ensure all duties are completed in a timely manner
- Ensure all equipment is operated in a safe and responsible manner
- Ensure proper and safe use of PPE
- Keep the yard and warehouse free of obstructions and organized
- Adhere to company standards, including H&S and loss prevention
- Perform shipping and receiving duties as required
- Demonstrate safe and efficient loading and unloading
- Perform daily vehicle and equipment checks
- Assist co-workers and Team Leaders as needed
- Other duties as required by the Manager
Qualifications :
- Valid Class 3 driver's licence with air or a valid Class 1 driver's licence
- Must provide an acceptable driver's abstract upon hire
- Knowledge of Central Alberta and surrounding area to successfully navigate is an asset
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Training will be provided on-site
