We are looking for Temporary Full time and Part-Time Security guards to work in the Industrial sector near Portage la prairie, St Leon and Manitou for 6 months .
As a member of the GardaWorld team, your primary role is to ensure the safety and security of client assets, tenants and visitors to the assignment area in a professional and courteous manner.

- $0.55 per KM to the site and from
- $ 4 per hr. shelter pay (12 hr shift)

What does a Security Guard in Portage la prairie, St Leon and Manitou do?
- Maintain a safe and Secure environment
- Patrol the site, deter crime and trespassers.
- Report all events at the site and email end of the shift report with the pictures from the site.
- RCMP will be your emergency contact.
- Security guard will check 2 locations during the shift : St. Leon and Manitou
- Enforce Property regulations and city Bi- Laws on the client's site.
- Protect the client's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues.
- Complete Daily reports and Incident Reports.
- Provide Excellent customer service.
Qualifications to become a Security Guard in Portage la Prairie, St Leon and Manitou
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Must have valid Class 5 Full Driving license
- Previous experience in the security industry (asset)
- Valid Manitoba Security Guard license
- Must be a team player
- Must be able to prolonged patrols
- First aid will be beneficial
- Must have a reliable vehicle to get to and from work and be able to drive in inclement weather.
- Must be consistent for same shifts for 6 months.
- Customer service oriented
- Leadership and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a stressful environment
