co-op student term from May 2026 to May 2027.

Location : Arlo Office, Canada

Arlo is looking for a top student with strong interest in product testing a complex product that includes multiple clients, embedded firmware, and cloud storage. The Software Test team is responsible for validation and quality assurance of new products, new technologies, and new features.

This work term with Arlo offers exposure to :

State-of-the-art IP cameras and home automation productsStandard test methodology and techniquesCommercial product development life cycle

Responsibilities :

Execute manual and automated tests based on customer requirementsWrite clear bug reports for any software defects discovered during testingAssist development teams with troubleshooting customer or field issuesAnalyze software defects and verify bug fixesDevelop and maintain automated test toolsCreate test plans and write test reports

Job Requirements :

Attention to detail and technical curiosityExperience in executing moderate to complex test casesStrong written and oral communication skillsSoftware test development, programming, or scripting experienceKnowledge of data communication, networking, and protocolsAbility to work effectively both independently and within a team environment

Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada.The pay range for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries at commencement of employment and is expected to be between CAD$3,700 - $4,000 / month.
