What You Will Do With Us
As the Business Systems Coordinator based in Mississauga, you will be responsible for
Responsibilities :
- Desktop / laptop / thin client / printer support
- PC-based application support, maintenance, and upgrade
- LAN support
- Active Directory – User creation, password resets, AD Security Groups
- AS / 400 Support (Printers and Printing, User Account Management, Connectivity)
- Adherence to Corporate Standards and procedures
- Additional support functions as required
- Proposing cohesive solutions to solve business needs
- Troubleshoot data connection at the branches or assist with branch setups
- Bilingual support where required
What You Will Do with Us :
Desktop / Laptop / Thin Client / Printer Support / Cell Phone / VoIP
- New equipment configuration
- Hardware maintenance, upgrade, and replacement
- Troubleshooting, problem diagnosis, and reporting to the service contractor
- Inventory recording, management, and maintenance
- Problem ticket management (JIRA)
- Setup and supporting Corporate approved Cell Phone devices
- Setup and Management of VoIP phones (Cisco Unified)
- Support End-User issues locally and remotely
PC-Based Application Support :
- Operating system support (Windows 10 & 11)
- Microsoft Office products support (Office 365)
- Rexel Proprietary application support
- Citrix Connectivity on PCs and Thin Clients
LAN Support :
- Basic structured cabling requirements
- Level 1 Wired (LAN and WAN) and Wireless Network problem-solving and resolution
- Knowledge with Wireless equipment (Meraki)
- Basic understanding of VPN
Active Directory :
- Basic understanding of Creating AD User Accounts and Groups
- Password reset, unlocking locked AD User Accounts
- Knowledge and understanding of AD security groups and File Folder Security Groups
AS / 400 Device Support :
- Level 1 diagnostics and problem determination of AS / 400 attached terminals and printers
- Maintain and support technical teams in all system installations
- Coordinate and support all Branch relocations relating to systems
Who Are You :
- Community College or University degree in an appropriate discipline, preferably Information Technology, Business Administration or Engineering
- A minimum of three (3) years of varied related experience in working with LAN / WANs, Active Directory, Citrix, Break / Fix hardware, VOIP, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- CompTIA A+ / Network+ / Security+ Certification(s) would be an asset
- A demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Windows
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills
- Knowledge of the electrical distribution industry is considered an asset
