Schedule

The successful candidate will be required to work primarily 8-hour day shifts from 0830-1630. It is the responsibility of casual staff to provide reasonable availability to their department, inclusive of a minimum of two weekdays and two weekends within each 6-week period. Failure to provide reasonable availability and or maintain contact with the department in regular intervals can result in deemed resignation. 48_Budget Created with Sketch.

Support

You will utilize your sound knowledge in clinical dietetics to meet patient/family needs while delivering the highest standard of evidence-based care. Your excellent clinical leadership skills will assist you in working with both the interprofessional and Clinical Dietitian teams. 48_Performance Created with Sketch.

Performance

You will utilize your excellent knowledge of best practices in nutrition care to provide acute nutrition assessment, treatment, coordination of nutrition care services to bridge your patient’s transition from hospital to home and effectively contribute to quality improvement.

Qualifications

Current membership in the College of Dietitians of Ontario, in good standing. Membership with Dietitians of Canada (DC), preferred. CNSC designation is an asset. A minimum of 2 years' clinical experience in nutrition care support of adult patient population in an acute care setting.
