We are actively looking to hire Shop Supervisors for our growing Cambridge, Ontario location(shift to be determined upon hire).

The Shop Supervisor will lead and supervise the day-to-day activities of the shop personnel and ensure that all the company objectives are met in regards to safety, quality, productivity and cost. This position reports to the Focus Shop Manager. Shop personnel report directly to this position.

ACCOUNTABILITIES : Safety Compliance

• Hold safety meetings, perform monthly safety audits and issue work orders to maintenance for any malfunctioning or unsafe machinery.
• Hold toolbox talks at the beginning of each shift to heighten awareness of safety during the work day.
• Perform accident investigations with JHSC and EHS as required, ensure personal protective equipment is in place as well as train employees on the use of personal protective equipment.
• Conduct safe observations through the Dupont Safety Observation Program.

The base salary range for this position in [[Ontario]] at the start of employment is expected to be between $[[82,000]] and $[[126,000]] per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and / or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment.
