POSITION OVERVIEW :
Account Executive / Producer in our Surety department who will report to the President & VP of Business Development. The candidate will be required to network, solicit, develop and produce a profitable portfolio of Surety / Bonding business through various cultivation practices and techniques.Some leads are provided

RESPONSIBILITIES :
Overall responsibility for sales production, development and acquisition of new business clients and retention of the company's' Construction clients;
while generating a strong prospect pipeline
- Act as an Expert Advisor for clients, build relationships and mitigate risks successfully to protect their business
- Refer Commercial Clients to the companies other lines of business (e.g., Personal Lines, Benefits and Retirement services).
- In collaboration with the President and VP Business Development provide strategic overview of the growth initiatives for your book
- Collaborate with other Account Executives with share ideas, strategies with an aim to win accounts
- Biweekly producer meetings, monthly Sales Huddles and Annual Sales Summits
- Act as a professional advisor and a thought leader
- Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day
- Continuously improve your technical and market knowledge through ongoing seminars, training, leadership and mentoring opportunities
REQUIREMENTS :
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of Surety Construction SALES experience
- Proven track record in generating leads from various sources
- Strong sales background with demonstrated ability to outperform targets
- Client development / relationship management experience
- Ability to be a self starter with strong written and oral communication skills as well as organizational skills
- Advanced skills in Outlook, Excel, Word and EPIC is an asset
- RIBO is an asset but not required
