About the Role
The Senior Integration Architect leads the design and governance of the architecture that enables secure, scalable, and seamless integration of systems and data across the University’s enterprise digital ecosystem. The role develops standards and strategies for data flows, system interoperability, application programming interfaces (APIs), and automated data exchanges between platforms. The role ensures integration patterns support data quality, security, operational efficiency, and long‑term sustainability by defining architectures, implementing secure integrations, evaluating and recommending tools and technologies, and maintaining clear technical documentation and standards. Working within an Agile environment, the role collaborates with developers, business analysts, and cross‑unit technical teams to align integration activities with institutional goals and ensure security and compliance requirements are embedded into all aspects of design and execution. The role leverages cloud services and DevOps practices, such as those available in Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, to deliver cloud‑based and hybrid integration solutions, modernizing legacy interconnectivity, applying infrastructure‑as‑code and continuous delivery methods to improve reliability and delivery speed.
