The Opportunity Shape the World Around You - Join a global industrial and mining team that delivers engineering excellence-while remaining deeply connected to its local communities. As part of WSP's Resources division (Industrial & Mining), you'll support the planning and execution of new infrastructure projects and upgrades to existing facilities. Working closely with our electrical and instrumentation engineers, you will contribute directly to projects spanning Québec and across Canada.
Your Impact - Collaborate with electrical and instrumentation engineers to develop plans, specifications, and detailed design packages for industrial, mining, and institutional projects.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and support material estimates required for project delivery.
- Select and develop technical specifications for electrical equipment and instrumentation.
- Participate in preparing technical specifications and tender documents for electrical, instrumentation and control scopes.
- Contribute to preparing construction and supervision specifications.
- Conduct field visits to gather technical data required for design development.
- Support technicians assigned to various project tasks as needed.
- Attend coordination meetings with the design team to align deliverables and timelines.
- Provide technical support during site execution and commissioning activities.
- Perform additional related tasks that support efficient project execution.
The Skills That Set You Apart - College diploma (DEC) in electrical engineering technology and/or instrumentation.
- Experience in designing electrical or instrumentation systems for industrial, mining, or institutional environments (asset).
- Ability to travel within the region occasionally.
- Strong initiative, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Consulting engineering experience (asset).
- Experience with site supervision or commissioning (asset).
- Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D/3D (asset).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- ASP Construction safety card (asset).
- Valid driver's license.

Compensation: NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $60,300 - $80,000
