We are currently seeking aversatile Real Estate Asset Manager to join our dynamicteam.
PositionOverview :
Youwill assist in the administration of a mortgage fund portfolio leadreal estate acquisitions conduct related analyses and assist withinvestor relations.
This role is designed for an individual whocombines expertise in financial management real estate and customerservice to enhance investment performance asset growth and investorsatisfaction.
Additionally responsibilities include maintaininginvestor databases processing investment transactions and assistingwith investorinquiries.
KeyResponsibilities :
Manage real estate acquisitions market research and feasibilitystudies.
Enhance the value of real estate assets through strategicmanagement anddevelopment.
Coordinate with property managers leasing agents and stakeholdersto optimize assetperformance.
Identify and evaluate investment opportunities throughcomprehensive duediligence.
Present investment opportunities and recommendations to the creditcommittee.
Maintain financial models for investment analysis focusing on cashflow valuation and returnmetrics.
50% of therole
- Appraisingcommercial & residential property values by; reviewingexisting appraisals researching MLS and looking for similar property values for similar properties& by doing your own independent analysis andappraisals
- Managethe tracking of financials (evaluate howmuch money can be lent out formortgages)
25% of therole
Manage &oversee 3 commercial properties (do not need to visit theproperties)
Perform aHighest and Best Use Analysis for theproperties
Manage &oversee any renovations / repairs and theircosts
Make capitalinvestment decisions on theseproperties
25% of therole
- PerformInvestor Relation duties by answeringcalls from investors / shareholders and providing investors withinformation on their investments & facts about thecompany
- Performsimple accounting / bookkeeping work (nothing toocomplex)
Qualifications :
Bachelor s degree; preferably in Finance Business Administration orrelatedfield.
Preference for experience in mortgage investment mortgage portfoliomanagement and / or real estate acquisition and assetmanagement.
Strong understanding of real estate investments mortgage lendingpractices and customer serviceprinciples.
Proficiency in financial modeling analysis and investment valuation(ie. Highest & Best UseAnalysis)
Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skillswith the ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to investorinquirieseffectively.
Detailoriented with strong analytical and problemsolvingcapabilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpacedenvironment.
