JOB SYNOPSIS:
Assisting in the daily operation of the cafeteria. Your primary goal is to provide quality food prep and service in order to ensure that our guests have an enjoyable and memorable experience in our cafeteria.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintaining overall continuous food safe practice and instruction.
- Opening and closing procedures for cafeteria and equipment cleaning.
- Sufficient completion of daily prep list & line set up.
- Friendly and efficient service while working on line serving public.
- Implementation of all risk management procedures as per Whitewater Ski Resort.
- Adhering to all Whitewaters' employee and resort policies and procedures.
- Keep a clean, organized and safe working area at all times.
- Promote Whitewater’s safety culture by reviewing and amending where necessary but not limited to: Department Manuals, CDPP, Employee Handbook
- Maintain current knowledge of legal standards pertaining to equipment, safety regulations, and OHS practices.
- Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from time to time.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION:
- Mature, reliable, and presentable
- 1-2 years experience in a restaurant or cafeteria
- Food Safe Level 1
