The role: Veterinary Extern - General Practice at NVA Canada.
An externship experience at an NVA hospital will give students the unique opportunity to understand the day-to-day operations of the practice, and to gain valuable hands-on clinical experience. Although every NVA hospital is unique, we all have some things in common: an environment that is supportive, committed to excellent medicine, and provides exceptional service to animals and the people who love them.
Brack Animal Hospital in Windsor, Ontario is an AAHA Accredited hospital since 1964 and offers an excellent opportunity for veterinary students looking to gain hands-on experience through an externship. As a full-service companion animal hospital, Brack Animal Hospital is dedicated to providing high-quality veterinary care throughout the life of pets, including routine preventive care, early disease detection and treatment, and comprehensive medical and surgical care. The hospital emphasizes compassionate care and client education, making it an ideal environment for students to learn and develop their skills. With a team of experienced veterinarians and registered veterinary technicians, students will have the chance to work alongside knowledgeable professionals who are committed to providing personalized attention to each pet and their owner.
Clinical portion veterinary students are eligible for a travel/living expense stipend.
