As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential, as you will be moving throughout your entire shift, patrolling and monitoring the facility to ensure safety.
Patrol critical areas to spot any suspicious activity and ensure a safe environment.
Check identification and control access to secure areas.
React quickly to threats or incidents and document actions taken.
Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
Handle alarms and conduct on-site checks.
Partner with law enforcement during serious incidents.
Maintain a secure and welcoming environment for all occupants and staff.
Support the safety and well-being of the facility through proactive monitoring and intervention.
Be authorized to work in Canada.
Previous experience in security or protective services.
Training in conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques.
Experience working with vulnerable populations, including individuals in crisis.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and coordinate with external partners.
Knowledge of emergency procedures, including fire safety and evacuation.
Additional first aid or mental health crisis training is an asset.
