Position

Part‑time Pediatric Registered Nurse in Orangeville, ON. Flexible shifts on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays 16 : 00‑21 : 00 or 17 : 00‑22 : 00, and Monday‑Friday 15 : 30‑20 : 00. Total of 14 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Seizure management
• Administer and document medications as prescribed, following CNO medication administration standards
• Monitor and maintain the safekeeping of drugs and narcotics
• Maintain child’s records and required documentation in accordance with CNO standards
• Assist the child with personal care, hygiene, and activities of daily living
• Observe and report changes in child’s condition to guardian and WeeCare
• Assist with ambulation, mobilization, transferring, and use of adaptive aids
• Demonstrate understanding of child’s needs and maximize abilities
• Provide cognitive, social, emotional, and psychological support to the child / parent / guardian
• Respond to concerns and ensure appropriate action is taken
• Assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment, including child’s equipment and belongings
• Notify supervisor of any concerns impacting child’s safety, incidents, and accidents
• Complete all other tasks as assigned
