Duties and Responsibilities :
This position provides administrative support to the HLC Unit encompassing Physical Education, Athletics, Facility, and Campus Recreation.
Responsibilities include managing requests for facility and equipment rentals through computer systems under the coordinator’s guidance.
Additionally, the role involves assisting with event planning and coordinating special hosting requests, as well as supporting Physical Education, Campus Recreation, Mini U, and Athletics with class schedules and program and training times.
Client service duties include providing assistance at the front desk. Other responsibilities include creating promotional materials, managing FOB and card activation systems, assisting seasonal staff with keys, training, scheduling, and managing student workers’ timesheets, attending meetings, managing office supplies, tracking facility usage, and coordinating repairs as needed.
Additional related duties may also be assigned as required.
Required Qualifications and Experience :
Must have a minimum Grade 12 plus a one (1) year Office Administration certificate and three (3) years’ directly related experience or a comparable combination of education and experience is required.
To be successful in this role, the preferred candidate should possess excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team is necessary to be successful as is the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Office and other office software and equipment is an asset.
