Job descriptionImplement and modify firewall, proxy, VPN, WAF, and IDS / IPS rules in line with security policies Troubleshoot firewall, VPN, proxy, WAF, and IDS / IPS issues with customers, internal teams, and vendors Configure and support cloud-native security controls including Azure NSGs, ASGs, and AWS security groups Support secure connectivity between on-premises data centres and cloud environments (Azure and AWS) Maintain accurate project and operational documentation in accordance with governance requirements Process production change requests related to firewall, zoning, VPN, and security groups Provide knowledge transfer and collaborate with security and network operations teams Support continuity of operations across multiple concurrent projects 4+ years of recent experience supporting firewall rules, VPNs, Active Directory, and DNS in complex enterprise environments Strong understanding of networking, segmentation, firewall rule design, and security zoning Hands-on experience with Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Cisco firewalls Experience with VPN technologies (site-to-site, remote access, cloud-integrated) Experience implementing and supporting Web Application Firewalls in on-premises and cloud environments Working knowledge of Azure and AWS security controls in hybrid environments Experience with VMware NSX Distributed Firewall, including micro-segmentation and east-west traffic control Familiarity with certificate management (PKI) for firewall and VPN authentication Experience supporting on-premises to cloud migrations Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills Excellent communication, customer interaction, and organizational abilities Eligibility to work in Canada Firewall and VPN administration Web Application Firewalls (WAF) IDS / IPS Cloud security (Azure, AWS) Network segmentation and micro-segmentation English
