About The Role:
Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Temp. Full-Time Industrial Engineer to join our dynamic Operational Excellence team. The work of an Industrial Engineer is integral to Canadian Blood Services’ role as Canada’s Lifeline.
In this role you will liaise with management and front-line staff to maximize operational performance and determine operational efficiencies by developing improved supply chain processes. You will be responsible for collaborating with process development specialists, supply chain operations, and project teams to identify, design, study, and implement changes that will drive efficiency and quality improvements. You will provide consultation in modeling, manufacturing expertise, analytics and reporting, maintain labor standards for the Supply Chain and liaise with finance for costing activities. You will play a lead role in the development and reporting of key performance indicators, identify and facilitate development of automated and other technological reporting solutions to improve efficiency and control.
