Showcase your service and organization strengths as an Event Set Up Attendant, where your attention to detail, safety and quality will help “set the stage” for a successful group function.
Starting Rate: $21.27 per hour
We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $27.48
This position is starting as soon as possible, it is a seasonal position that will be an 8th month contract.
Job Duties Include:
Reporting to the Event Set Up Supervisor, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Maintain the cleanliness of banquet rooms, hallways, storage and service areas
- Lift and store tables, chairs and staging efficiently and safely
- Set-up, maintain and break down banquet meeting rooms
- Follow directions from banquet event orders for assigned banquet meetings
- Report needed repairs of unsafe equipment and or conditions
Qualifications
Your Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous guest service experience preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team and under pressure
- Class 5 Alberta Driver’s License
- Updated Driver’s Abstract
