Responsibilities
- Supports daily operations by providing administrative assistance to the department or team
- Develops and maintains strong, customer-focused relationships with key stakeholders
- Manages document control, filing systems, and compliance requirements to ensure accuracy and accessibility
- Coordinates email communications and calendar management on behalf of team members
- Organizes meetings and events, including scheduling and logistical coordination
- Arranges travel accommodations and prepares detailed itineraries as required
- Provides guidance and mentorship to junior administrative staff, as needed
- Delivers high-level administrative support to executives and senior team members
- Assists with basic marketing initiatives and maintains website content updates
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Associates or bachelor’s degree, diploma or certificate in an office administration program is considered an asset
- 5 years of experience as an administrative assistant is preffered
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to change
- Ability to act with discretion when handling confidential information
- Ability to effectively handle difficult situations and remain calm under pressure
- Ability to develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships
- Intermediate skills in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe, and OneNote
