About the role

Join the Partner Solutions (PSI) team as a Security Analyst II, Cyber Resilience!

Our cyber resilience initiative aims to support our partners in responding to cyber incidents, while helping Intact reduce potential impacts and comply with legal and regulatory reporting requirements.

What you'll do here:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Intact’s partners when reporting cyber incidents.

  • Gather the necessary information related to cyber incidents from Intact’s partners and act as a liaison between key stakeholders, both internally and externally.

  • Maintain regular communication with the leadership team; escalate any relevant information.

  • Collaborate with incident management analysts, compliance and legal experts, business development leads, and executives to resolve cyber incidents affecting Intact’s partners.

  • Ensure proper documentation of Intact partners’ cyber incidents, highlight lessons learned to contribute to continuous improvement, and maintain cyber resilience best practices.

  • Apply your cybersecurity expertise to prepare for and conduct assessments of Intact partners’ cybersecurity posture, practices, and state of cyber readiness.

What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in Information Security (InfoSec) or Information Technology (IT).

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity and cyber resilience concepts and/or cybersecurity governance frameworks.

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written).

  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.

  • Self-motivated; comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude.

  • Cybersecurity certifications (an asset).

  • Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or on an incident response team, preferably in security monitoring and incident response (an asset).

  • Strong knowledge of the insurance industry (an asset).

  • No Canadian work experience required, but authorization to work in Canada is required.
