Technical Architect (ID#5272)

The company, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Technology Architect to lead the design of enterprise BI architectures and support modernization of analytics ecosystems. This role focuses on governance, architecture, performance optimization, and integration of BI solutions. Responsibilities :

• Lead BI architecture design across Power BI, Dynamics 365, Azure, and related platforms.
• Analyze requirements, create prototypes, and oversee BI solution implementation.
• Administer Power BI (reports, dashboards, data connections, RLS, performance optimization, dataset refresh management).
• Maintain and phase out legacy BI solutions (SQL Server, SSIS, SAP BO).
• Define and enforce BI standards, naming conventions, and development best practices.
• Integrate BI solutions with enterprise applications, APIs, and data warehouses.
• Evaluate hardware / software / cloud services and recommend improvements.
• Lead cloud migration initiatives toward Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
• Develop enterprise data strategies and related action plans.
• Use Git for version control, branching strategies, and collaborative workflows.
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and produce architecture documentation.
