Qualifications
- Bilingual in French and English.
- Strong drive and commitment to deliver better products and services, with genuine interest in innovation and sourcing option development.
- 3–5 years of experience in a multinational company, working in cross‑functional teams.
- Project procurement and construction contracting experience.
- Experience with SAP procurement tools such as ARIBA / S4Hana (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of sourcing and procurement practices, including negotiation, financial, legal, supplier management and supplier development.
- Good knowledge of project management methods and cost drivers, the value chain, and industry and market‑specific conditions for category.
- Strong analytical skills, able to zoom into details while keeping the bigger picture in mind.
- Good knowledge of IKEA business model, strategic landscape, and IKEA ways of working, able to lead by example and share IKEA values.
Responsibilities
Contribute to the implementation of the Strategic Sourcing agenda in the markets and / or categories by executing relevant action plans while building long‑term supplier partnerships and driving supplier performance.Execute sourcing projects according to the Source‑to‑Pay process and SAP Ariba.Deliver business priorities by collaborating with colleagues across departments as one cross‑functional team.Ensure a strategic and professional approach to sourcing, using excellent negotiation skills to optimize and drive out costs and considering the end user for effective call‑off options and optimal invoicing channel.Secure compliance through IWAY and the Code of Conduct.Continuously monitor the supplier market and provide input to business owners on sourcing options, supplier market, market trends, and contributing to the development of the Category Plans.Implement and communicate procurement strategies / category plans / strategic directions within the markets and / or categories.Ensure added value and relevant solutions to meet customers' needs.Benefits

The starting rate for this position ranges from 79,488 CAD to 109,296 CAD and will be based on relevant work experience.
