About The Position The role of the Warehouse Worker is a hands-on production position. The Warehouse Worker reports directly to the Operations Manager. Principal Responsibilities * Picking orders for packing * Packing orders for shipping * An opportunity for some shipping/receiving * Product processing * Inventory control and quality assurance * Adhere to all company guidelines, procedures, and policies. * Carry out any additional tasks as requested by the Operations Manager * Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Required Qualifications * One (1) or more years of current warehouse-related work experience (preference given to those with floral industry experience) * One (1) or more years of forklift experience preferred * Experience using an ERP System preferred, or experienced in working with an Operating System * Must be proficient in the English language and able to communicate fluently verbally and written * Must have previous experience working within a high-energy, fast-paced environment * Must be flexible to work variant hours (maximum 8 hours per day) and must be available to work longer hours during peak seasons, weekend availability required, some extended hours will be required around Floral Holidays * Demonstrate positive work ethics * Strong organization & time management skills Working Conditions * High energy, fast-paced warehouse environment with various temperature zones in the warehouse * Cooler: 3-4˚C, Warehouse/Packing room: 10˚C to 18˚C * Willing and able to work in all temperature conditions depending on production demand * Standing/walking most of the shift * Lifting boxes up to 50lbs (average 20-35 lbs.) * Moving floral carts (both empty and full) * Due to the nature of the floral industry, longer hours may be required around holidays Staalduinen Floral Limited would like to thank all job applicants for taking the time to apply our career opportunities, we truly appreciate it.
