We pride ourselves in our commitment to innovation, safety, and employee development.JOB SUMMARY:We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Millwright to join our team.This role will be reporting into the Maintenance Supervisor. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that all machinery operates smoothly and efficiently, minimizing downtime and increasing productivity.WE OFFER:$47.40 per hour plus shift premium and overtime after 40 hoursCompany Paid Benefits-Life Insurance, Disability, Employee Assistance Program Flexible Health and Dental Benefit PlanDefined Contribution Pension PlanUniforms providedSafety shoe/boot programEducational Assistance Programs, Scholarship Programs, Apprenticeship ProgramsRESPONSIBILITIES:Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery to ensure optimal performanceInstall, dismantle, and assemble machinery and equipment according to plans andTroubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, implement effective solutionsAlign and calibrate machinery and equipment using precision toolsFabricate required parts for installationFollow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environmentCollaborate with engineers, electricians, and other team members to optimize performanceMaintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activitiesWork independently when required and as part of the teamOther duties as requiredQUALIFICATIONS:Certified Millwright 433A ticket requiredExperience with screw conveyors, belt conveyors, hydraulic systems, pneumatics, pumps and machinery rebuildsUnderstanding of electrical components is an assetExperience with boiler systems would be an assetDarling is committed to a workforce that reflects the diversity of the communities where our facilities are located.
