Team Member - Plant Watering & Maintenance Enderby

Here at Grounds Guys, we are looking for someone with an interest in plants and flowers to provide daily watering of flowers and hanging baskets that are the pride of downtown Enderby. This is a part time, early morning position to start and is located in Enderby, BC. All needed equipment and a vehicle are provided.

If you are interested in expanding the role you will have the opportunity to add other roles into the position.

The hours for watering are flexible, however early mornings are normally best. The watering and some weeding is approximately a 3 hour route. The number of days per week varies from 3-5 depending on the weather. One day is likely to be on the weekend.

Your Responsibilities as a Landscaping Team Member

· Front-Line Employee –

o You are quite literally the boots on the ground. You’ll be a front-line employee who provides exceptional care.

o The team looks to you to perform basic tasks related to landscape maintenance at high levels of quality and service delivery. This may include other lawn care duties when not focused on Landscaping work.

o You must be able to work outdoors, in all weather conditions, doing very physical work, able to lift/carry 35-80 pounds often

o You ensure everything is wrapped up and set to go for the next day.

How We Measure Success

· Attendance: Might sound basic, but it’s critical to meet our Customer Service goals. You need to be here as required by your

Supervisory team.

· Budget vs Actual Hours: Keeping jobs profitable is dependent on managing the time planned and spent at each job.

· Return Rates: You’ll ensure quality control to make sure it’s rare to ever need to go back to redo a job.

· Customer Retention: Building great relationships with each customer, and ensuring that they receive exceptional service, will keep them coming back.

· Full Utilization of Software & Processes: This helps make all of the above possible.

Job Requirements for Landscaping Team Member

· Prior experience in landscaping, lawn service, or similar service industries.

· If you don’t already have experience, you must be willing to complete training within 6 months.

In addition, there are a few additional minimum requirements that are necessary to be considered for this position.

Benefits & Pay

The pay range for this position is $23.00 and can increase with increased responsibilities and tasks.
