Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX :

As the Logistics Coordinator, you manage the accurate inbound and outbound movement of finished goods and raw materials throughout a global supply chain.

You coordinate with global factories, raw material suppliers, transportation service providers, customs brokers and ports to ensure that shipments are on-schedule.

Meet Your Future Team :

You will be working within the Logistics team consist of Logistics Coordinators and Specialists. You will also need to work closely with other departments such as Warehouse Operations and Merchandising Planning and Allocations team.

If you were the Logistics Coordinator now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing :

  • Acting as the single point of contact for internal customers for specific Distribution Centre queries and updates
  • Tracking and tracing inbound and outbound shipments to and from Distribution Centre locations, factories and suppliers
  • Providing routing instructions for finished goods, raw materials and related materials
  • Reviewing, auditing, coding and approving freight invoices to quotes or price agreements
  • Maintaining all relevant Logistics Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Analyzing and formulating logistics solutions for new trade lanes and expedited shipments
  • Creating and maintaining transit timetables to ensure Purchase Orders are planned with correct shipping lead times
  • Creating and maintaining key performance indicator (KPI) reports to ensure satisfied service levels
  • Improving logistics processes wherever possible to maximize efficiency and improve service to internal and external customers
  • Ensuring non-compliance reports (NCRs) are generated to measure vendor performance, initiating loss claims with service providers
  • Investigating and filing claims for lost or damaged product against transportation carriers, forwarders, and service providers
  • Identifying issues / gaps in vendor performance and escalating to leadership for resolution if necessary
  • Updating Inbound and Outbound shipments in TAS / SAP for Finished Goods, Raw Materials and related goods, as well as creating and distributing Receiving Schedule Reports by Distribution Centre to Supply Chain team members
  • Providing support for Logistics and Supply Chain projects as required
  • Upholding Fair Labor Association’s Workplace Code of Conduct and Principles of Fair Labor and Responsible Sourcing, throughout the Arc’teryx supply chain

Are you our next Logistics Coordinator?

  • You have 2-3 years of experience in logistics, or another relevant Supply Chain field
  • You are highly organized with strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage and maintain high volume of data
  • You have strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to communicate effectively to internal customers as well as with vendors
  • You are self-motivated, with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • You are proficient with Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word and Power Point
  • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
  • You are able to balance autonomy and collaboration
  • You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
  • You seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
  • Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it

$50,000 - $63,000 a year

A reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD$50,000 - CAD$63,000 at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and / or training.

Please note that the range details above reflect the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program and benefits that we offer.
