Job Posting : Human Resources Administrator, Saint John, NB

Commissionaires NBPEI are currently recruiting for a qualified and experienced Human Resources Administrator to work in our head office in Saint John, NB. Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, the Human Resources Administratoris responsible for key duties aligned around Total compensation, benefits, Security Clearances, HR technology and data administration as well as overall Employee administration.

Salaried position

Benefits : Health, Vision, and Dental Benefits, Life Insurance and AD&D plans

Hours : Regular business hours, Monday to Friday- am to pm, with some exceptions depending on work assignments

The Human Resources Administrator works with various internal departments and key stakeholders to execute duties in support of three areas of priority :

Total Compensation & Benefits

  • Benefit enrollment and ongoing administration
  • Total Compensation management for all employee levels

HR Technology and HR Data Administration

  • HRIS administration, data hygiene and management
  • HR Dashboard management and related reporting
  • Employee Administration

  • Support employee onboarding, manage employee lifecycle and provide ongoing assistance to employees
  • Lead the employee security process and manage all levels of clearances
  • Knowledge, skills and abilities

  • Possess an understanding of HR design and administrative processes
  • Knowledge of HR compliance, employment standards and provincial human rights acts
  • Knowledge of HRIS (experience with Criterion considered an asset) and ability to act as SME of HRIS in support of all employee groups
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to observe, analyze, and comprehend even the most minute aspects of a task
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members as well as internal and external stakeholders
  • Education and Professional Requirements

  • Three () plus years of HR experience
  • Post-secondary education with a major in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • Proficiency in using HR software and tools and experience with HR dashboards and metrics
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Must meet requirements to obtain a Government of Canada Level II (Secret level) and RCMP enhanced security clearances
