Job description

Adecco is currently seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Cash Applications Specialist- Accounts Receivable to support a leading finance team in Brampton, ON. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational and analytical skills who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment. You’ll play a key part in supporting the Order-to-Cash process, handling payment reconciliations, and assisting with reporting and audits.

Key Details

Pay rate : $22 / hour.
Location : Brampton, ON
Shifts : Monday-Friday 8 : 30am-5 : 00pm (On-site)
Job type : Temporary| Full-time

Responsibilities

Assist with various projects and initiatives within Cash Management

Complete daily bank reconciliations

Act as primary contact for payment escalations

Reconcile general ledger entries and remittances

Accurately apply incoming payments to open receivables

Investigate and resolve unapplied payments and discrepancies

Run weekly and monthly unapplied cash reports

Deliver on established KPIs, metrics, and reconciliation files

Prepare remittance flat files from client portals

Assist in audit reviews and month-end close

Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager

Requirements

Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

Post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline

Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar accounts receivable or finance support role

Familiarity with large ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, etc.

Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to manage time independently

Comfortable working under pressure and adapting to change

Dependable and punctual with a collaborative attitude
