The Administrator, Lease Portfolio Management is responsible for the ongoing asset management of the lease agreement process from preparing a rent upload file to reconciling landlord rental statements of accounts.
What you will do in this role : Review the additional rent charges on all Rental Advice Notices submitted by the landlord and flag any increases in excess of 3%Obtain approval from Real Estate Analyst for any increases in excess of 3% prior to updating in Lucernex databaseOn a monthly basis run lease expiry and holdover report to obtain lease status and approvals from Portfolio ManagersReview and approve monthly rent file for all Brands for approximately $10 million dollarsApproved rent file is uploaded monthly to Accounts Payable for processingUpdate Lucernex database with new rental amounts, new rent vendors and G / L AccountsProcess property tax payments through Lucernex databaseSet up all new leases in Lucernex data base for recurring expenses by obtaining rental notices from landlordsCommunicate in writing to the franchisee a detailed rental scheduleLiaison between franchisee and landlord all rental notices, changes of ownership or mailing addressAdvise franchisees and Senior Management of any default notices received by RecipeEnsure the integrity of the Lucernex database by keeping all landlord and property management information currentScan and upload all rental notices into a data documentation fileWhat we are looking for from you : College / University Degree2 to 5 years experience in commercial lease administration and property accountingProficient in excel and GmailMaintain integrity of a leasing databaseAble to maintain keen attention to detail while balancing various tasks and deadlinesAbility to work as a team playerConfident working in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive processesLiaise with Accounts Payable Department on a daily basisOccasionally may be requested to provide rent account status to the Real Estate teamDaily communication with Landlord’s and Property Managers as well as our Franchisee PartnersWhat’s in it for you?
