Job description

For our location Brossard, Quebec we are looking for you as:


Service Technician

What challenges can you expect?

  • You will perform maintenance, servicing and repair of on-load tap-changers and transformers for power supply companies and industrial customers
  • Thereby, you will be preplanning service jobs to be carried out
  • You will take care of problem assessment in regard to Load Tap-Changer units, Power Transformer’s accessories and equipments, including its resolution
  • You will propose and recommend additional solutions to Customers in order to improve the asset reliability
  • You will create technical service reports and forward it to the Service Manager
  • Furthermore, you will be dedicated to support the company development strategy with other duties as assigned

What do we expect from you?

  • You are a skilled worker with appropriate experience in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (< 2 years)
  • Thereby, you enjoy practical and challenging hand-on tasks in the electrical / mechanical field
  • Ideally, you already have experience in the maintenance and repair of on-load tap-changers or transformers
  • You have experience, enjoy digitalization in the industrial environment and can inspire our customers with it
  • A detailed as well as independent way of working characterizes you
  • Reliability and customer orientation are self-evident to you
  • You are fluent in French and English language (read / written / spoken)
  • In addition, you have basic computer skills (MS Office)
  • Your availability to travel rounds off your profile (approximately 70%)
  • Furthermore, you are committed to Health and Safety
  • And you’re holding a Canadian citizenship or Permanent Residen
